JPMorgan analyst John Ivankoe raised the price target on McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) to $310.00 (from $305.00) while maintaining a Overweight rating.
The analyst comments "MCD 2Q25 EPS of $3.19 vs our $3.09 (Street’s $3.15) was driven by an expected 2.5% US comp and higher international 4% IOM comp. US store margins of 12.3% were vs 14.3% last year and IOM at 17.8% vs 17.4% last year expressing the cost of SSS in this environment. US 2H25 should show further improvement in the US with the launch of Snack Wraps and easy comparisons while IOM has better underpinning value to support positive comps. Much of the discussion was around continued double digit traffic weakness of the US lower income consumer and the need to re-hit price certainty around core menu items to re-attract them to the brand."
