Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst Sanjay Sakhrani lowered the price target on Shift4 Payments (NYSE: FOUR) to $100.00 (from $110.00) while maintaining a Market Perform rating.
The analyst commented: "Stock Sell-off Seems Overdone, but Understandable; We are raising our estimates for FY25/FY26 to $5.31/$6.22 (from $4.95/$5.34) respectively to reflect Global Blue contribution in 2H25 and FY26. Lowering PT to $100 (fr. $110).
On the surface, the shares being down 15%+ on these results seems quite extreme. However, this really has to do with the fact that we feel management could have been sharper on providing more details on the organic growth potential and key drivers in 2Q and how those compare to the assumptions in 2H and the add up to the full-year outlook of 20%+ organic growth expected for the year. That was the key piece of feedback we heard from our conversations with investors. If measured on the stated fundamental outlook, we think the stock is cheap. Unfortunately, we need more to get comfortable on the growth outlook. Maintain MP rating."
