Barclays analyst Andrew Mok lowered the price target on agilon health Inc (NYSE: AGL) to $1.50 (from $3.00) while maintaining a Underweight rating.
The analyst comments "2Q25 EBITDA Miss; 2025 Guidance Withdrawn: AGL pre-announced 2Q25 results one day early and reported misses across revenue (-$75 mn miss), medical margin (-$111 mn miss), and EBITDA (-$55 mn miss) due to negative callouts listed below. With the release, AGL withdrew fullyear 2025 guidance and announced that CEO Steven Sell has stepped down. This is the latest revision and executive replacement in a string of negative managed care updates this earnings season and underscores the lack of visibility into claims and risk adjustment for capitated provider models. Co-founder Ronald Williams will assume CEO responsibilities as Executive Chairman while the Board searches for a permanent CEO."
