Raymond James analyst Sam Darkatsh reiterated a Market Perform rating on Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK)
The analyst comments "Summary: We reiterate Market Perform. We are raising our estimates to reflect a generally more favorable tariff policy vs. April. Valuation on our new estimates is also towards the lower end of the historical range. However, demand remains soft, and ongoing trade negotiations still include risk that tariffs will put Stanley at a further competitive disadvantage vs. Techtronic (which could exacerbate existing relative disadvantages from years of lower relative R&D and sales support spending along with significant balance sheet leverage at 4x trailing EBITDA)."
