H.C. Wainwright analyst Heiko Ihle raised the price target on Tanzanian Gold Corp. (NYSE: TRX) to $1.10 (from $1.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "On July 15, TRX Gold released its FY3Q25 financial results. During the quarter, the company generated revenue of $12.5M and incurred a net loss to shareholders of $0.2M, or ($0.00). This compares to FY3Q24 revenue of $10.1M and net loss of $1.7M, or ($0.01). The 23% increase in revenue YoY was mainly based on higher average realized gold pricing of $3,122 per ounce (oz) (+39% YoY). In contrast, however, this impact was partially offset by a slight decrease in overall gold ounces sold to 3,995oz (-12% YoY). TRX has started accessing higher-grade ore blocks in late FY3Q25 since completing its scheduled stripping campaign during FY1H25, which supported stronger production toward the end of the quarter and into FY4Q25. We also highlight that TRX has improved its working capital given strong cash flow after quarter-end. Reiterate Buy rating and increase PT to $1.10 from $1.00."
