UBS analyst Michael Lasser raised the price target on Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) to $127.00 (from $108.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.

The analyst commented, "After spending time with DLTR’s CEO, CFO, and head of IR, we see the opportunity and potential in front of the company. The business model is solid. It has been vastly simplified with the disposition of Family Dollar. Now, we believe the investment case is mostly a question of when the model can come together in a way that it yields the earnings consistency that it can produce. There was a real sense of energy and renewed focus during conversations on the heels of its FDO sale closing a few days prior. The company believes it is seeing increased signs that it's on the right path with multi-price, and pointed to what's possible under this plan. It's finally seeing the trade-in customer that it sorely missed for much of '24. Further, it sees these trade-in customers as an opportunity to capture shoppers that are attracted to its wider assortment of products that they can shop more frequently. The company points to successful competitors in other geographies as evidence that multi-price can be a winning formula, along with a better margin profile."
