Loop Capital analyst Anthony Chukumba raised the price target on Dollar General (NYSE: DG) to $120.00 (from $110.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst commented: "We have updated our Dollar General store experience tracker in which we gauge the cleanliness/orderliness, merchandise in-stock levels, and store associate engagement of several locations in downtown Chicago and the Manhattan suburbs. Our checks indicate store-level execution continues to improve, which we believe has been primarily driven by increased labor hours and a greater emphasis on customer service. Thus, we are raising our Dollar General price target to $120 from $110 while maintaining our Hold rating, particularly given our concerns about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit reductions in the recently enacted Trump Administration's One Big Beautiful Bill."
