Stifel analyst Jim Duffy reiterated a Buy rating and $20.00 price target on Levi Strauss & Co. (NYSE: LEVI).
The analyst commented, "We see capacity for modest revenue upside and an EPS beat vs. our estimates for $1,360mn revenue and $0.13 adj. EPS (Street $1,370mn/$0.13) supported by category relevance and traction with younger consumer sets at higher ASP. We expect guidance remains conservative early, and do not expect 2Q passthrough to FY25 guidance. Key moving parts in the FY25 outlook are 1) favorable FX developments (we estimate +$115mn to FY25 reported revenue at current rates), and 2) the impact of tariffs (we expect this represents a $0.05 impact to FY25 EPS after mitigation efforts). Our positive stance is based on structural mix shift towards higher value products and channels, and building visibility to +MSD% y/y normalized topline growth and +LDD% EPS growth. Given capacity for top and bottom line growth, we continue to view risk/reward favorably and our $20 target price represents 13.3x FY26E EPS of $1.50."
