UBS analyst Peter Grom raised the price target on National Beverage (NASDAQ: FIZZ) to $45.00 (from $42.00) while maintaining a Sell rating.
The analyst comments "FIZZ reported F4Q25 EPS of $0.48, in-line with our forecast, as better top line growth was offset by weaker GM. Shares finished the day up +4.6% (vs. XLP ~flat), which we believe was a combination of positioning as well as the fact that the print was likely better-than-feared. Looking ahead, we think the investment case will largely hinge on how top line/market share trends progress and although we are encouraged by management's commentary that volume performance has remained solid QTD (see more below), we think investors are likely to take a wait and see approach and look for more concrete signs in the data that a sustained inflection is taking shape. With shares now trading at a +23% premium to US Beverage peers vs. a 5-yr historical average of +11% and visibility on the top/bottom line trajectory over the next 12-18 months still somewhat limited, we think the risk/reward continues to skew to the downside."
