BofA Securities analyst Peter Galbo lowered the price target on Lamb Weston (NYSE: LW) to $56.00 (from $60.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The analyst commented, "We lower our 4Q25 adj. EPS estimate to $0.59 from $0.61. We also lower our FY26 adj. EPS to $2.90 from $3.30, reflecting the expectation for its adj EBITDA margin to be below the 19-20% medium term range previously provided. Two updates we expect: 1) details on Alix Partners plan that is being constructed as part of LW’s broader turnaround, 2) potential letters from activist investors JANA/Continental Grain as the board nomination window for LW is currently open. Reiterate Neutral and lower PO to $56 from $60 now based on 19x our CY26 EPSe (prior 18x). Short term, earnings could remain challenged (reflected in our lowered EPS) but activists involved in the stock could trigger and serve as an accelerant to a turnaround (reflected in our higher multiple)."
