DA Davidson analyst Kurt Yinger reiterated a Buy rating and $225.00 price target on Installed Building Products (NYSE: IBP).
The analyst commented, "Exiting 1Q25 results we are maintaining our BUY rating and $225 PT. Results were a bit light on the bottom-line due to higher operating expenses, but sales remained resilient, declining just 1% y/y and 4% y/y on an organic basis. Looking forward, while we expect some moderation in profitability/margins in 2025 alongside known residential demand softness, performance overall we believe will be quite stable relative to that of other building product/distributor peers. Capital deployment optionality remains and we view current valuation at 9x-10x EBITDA forecasts as compelling."
