Jefferies analyst Matthew Taylor lowered the price target on Becton Dickinson (NYSE: BDX) to $255.00 (from $305.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "BDX reported F2Q revs of $5.27 B, +0.9% organic, citing a difficult operating environment, vs cons $5.35B, & EPS of $3.35 +5.5% vs cons $3.28 (+3.3%). BDX lowered FY25 organic sales guide to 3-3.5% vs 4-4.5% prior, and its EPS range to $14.06-$14.34 +8%, from $14.30-$14.60 and vs cons $14.43 (25c from tariffs and 5c from FX). Tariffs could also play through in '26; we are lowering our #s and PT given a tough quarter and tariff uncertainty."
