A. Schulman, Inc. (Nasdaq: SHLM) 10.3% LOWER; announced that net income for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2007 is now expected to be in the range of $17-$23 million. This is below prior guidance that fiscal 2007 net income would fall in the range of $25-$30 million.

Sapient Corp. (Nasdaq: SAPE) 4.7% HIGHER; Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE) reports Q1 non-GAAP EPS of $0.07 (GAAP EPS is $0.01) vs. consensus of $0.01. Revenues were $125.79 million vs. consensus of $118.71 million. Sapient management provided the following financial guidance for the second quarter ending June 30, 2007:Service revenues are expected to be in excess of $126 million; Non-GAAP operating margins are expected to be in excess of 7%; and Expenses related to the stock-based compensation review and restatement are expected to be approximately $3.3 million. (Q2 Revenue consensus is $124.19 million for total revenues)

Stratasys Inc. (NASDAQ: SSYS) 4% HIGHER; will replace Lone Star Technologies Inc. (NYSE: LSS) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Thursday, June 14.

Volcom Inc. (NASDAQ: VLCM) 1.7% HIGHER; will replace Paxar Corp. (NYSE: PXR) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Friday, June 15.

HealthSpring, Inc. (NYSE: HS) INDICATED LOWER; said adverse medical cost trends reported in the first quarter of 2007 have continued in April and May. The Company does not believe it will meet its 2007 Medicare Advantage MLR target of 80.0% or less or its annual earnings guidance of $1.55 to $1.65 per share. The Company believes its 2007 full-year Medicare Advantage MLR will range between 81.0% and 82.0% and that its 2007 reported EPS will be between $1.20 and $1.35 (including a $0.06 charge).
