Piper Sandler analyst Jason Bednar lowered the price target on Becton Dickinson (NYSE: BDX) to $260.00 (from $280.00) while maintaining an Overweight rating.
The analyst commented: "Investors seem bored, and maybe that's where the opportunity lies. We see FQ2 as another quarter of operational upside (both revs and EPS), and believe management may pass that and Fx tailwinds through to updated guidance. Tariffs here are the main unknown, and BDX's global manufacturing base makes risk quantification a difficult exercise, but BDX maintains a local manufacturing presence in China, and we believe the company's general diversification provides insulation that should be sought."
