Jefferies analyst Julien Dumoulin-Smith raised the price target on Portland General Electric Company (NYSE: POR) to $47.00 (from $42.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "Cost-optimization efforts and load can help support earned returns. But unwavering customer affordability concerns remain. Seaside BESS regulatory strategy uncertain. Wildfire backstop fund legislation stalled. Holdco likely but equity needs linger. Tariffs/IRA overhang given BESS/tax credit exposures. RFP timing, capex upside, financing are all drivers of the less visible 5-7% EPS CAGR."
