Truist Securities analyst Brian Foran lowered the price target on Ally Financial (NYSE: ALLY) to $41.00 (from $45.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "We revise our Ally 2025E EPS to $2.20 from $3.03 and 2026E EPS to $5.95 from $6.00. The main driver of our 2025 estimate revision is including the realized securities loss in 1Q actual results. We maintain our 2025E and 2026E adjusted TBVPS at $39 and $45, respectively, and reduce our price to tangible multiple to 0.9x amid recession risk. This leads to our price target revised to $41 from $45 prior. We continue to rate the stock Buy given ALLY's improving retail auto credit, margin expansion and tangible book growth from bond loss heal."
