Truist Securities analyst Youssef Squali lowered the price target on Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL) to $200.00 (from $220.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "Lowering FY25 Ests on Tariffs & Macro; We're lowering our 2Q/FY25 estimates and our PT to $200 but maintaining our Buy rating on the impact of new tariffs especially on China and Canada, which are likely to weigh on growth in key verticals incl. Retail, Autos and Pharma. We expect GOOGL's 1Q25 results (on 4/24) to be virtually in line with our & Street consensus, fueled by solid user engagement across Search and YT, and sustained performance in Cloud. Concerns over AI evolution in Search (and regulatory pressures to a lesser degree) have weighed on GOOGL but we believe that current valuation reflects much of those concerns, and that AI Search remains Google's war to lose."
