The analyst comments "We initiate coverage of PVLA with a Buy rating and $45 TP. Recently public through reverse merger, Palvella is leveraging a versatile topical platform to build an orphan business model around rare skin diseases. Starting with known immunosuppressant rapamycin, PVLA is developing a topical treatment that has applications across multiple unserved rare skin conditions. QTORINTM solves for the systemic limitations of rapamycin and challenges of cutaneous delivery, yielding sufficient localized delivery for safety and unparalleled potency in poorly-treated conditions. Having identified the optimal indications in mTOR-mediated skin diseases and validated by very impressive Ph.2 results, we approach Ph.3 SELVA in microcystic lymphatic malformations (mLMs) with high optimism for its clinical success and commercial potential. Moreover, its expansion in cutaneous venous malformations (cVMs) with Ph.2 TOIVA is equally well-defined and ideal for mTOR-targeted treatment.
