Cantor Fitzgerald Reiterates Neutral Rating on Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (ALNY)

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Olivia Brayer reiterated a Neutral rating and $250.00 price target on Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ALNY).

The analyst commented, “An hour and a half later...and we finally have access to the updated label (but still no PR)! Amvuttra is now officially approved for ATTR-CM, and a few days before Sunday's PDUFA date (most were expecting it to hit tomorrow, not today [03/20]). The most important thing is that it's approved with a broad label: by this, we mean mortality language is in fact included on the front page.”

“This had become a bit of a debate, but most were expecting it (including us). Here's the exact language: "the cardiomyopathy of wild- type or hereditary transthyretin-mediated amyloidosis in adults to reduce cardiovascular mortality, cardiovascular hospitalizations and urgent heart failure visits".

“The "urgent heart failure visits" part is actually a differentiator vs. the other products on the market. Neither one has it in their respective labels: Attruby label, Vyndamax label. Nothing stands out to us in terms of the stats (Table 4) or All-Cause Mortality curves (Figure 5) - other than the fact that it's only out to 33 months, but that's not surprising given the PFE (NC)/BBIO (OW, covered by J. Schimmer) comps.”
