Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Ross Osborn reiterated an Overweight rating and $2.50 price target on Pacific Biosciences of California (NASDAQ: PACB).
The analyst commented, “According to PACB, ~20% of the company's revenue is direct/indirect NIH-funded, which may result in an extended sale cycle as confusion around funding has risen. Additionally, Asia- Pacific is an important region for PACB, historically accounting for ~27% (3Q24) of total revenue. While we continue to believe PACB's shares are significantly undervalued, trading at 3.7x EV/CY25E revenue, given the capital funding environment, the state of biotech/pharma and now NIH/China concerns, we are cautious on PACB.”
