Stifel analyst Rick Wise lowered the price target on OrthoPediatrics Corp. (NASDAQ: KIDS) to $32.00 (from $40.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented, "KIDS 4Q24 earnings call was more encouraging than we expected, considering their mid-January preannouncement and somewhat cautious growth outlook. Kicking off tonight's call, management shared an abundant array of sales drivers for the 2025 year ahead. These include: (1) the “immense” opportunity to scale the Specialty Bracing franchise, given high customer demand and the “very large” clinic expansion funnel; (2) recent/continued set deployments supporting the most “robust” U.S. Trauma business seen in KIDS' history as well as the potential for continued overall company share gains; and (3) multiple product innovations like PNP Tibia, 3P Hip, and DF2 Fracture Brace poised for broader 2025 rollout. Bottom-line: We left the OrthoPediatrics 4Q24 earnings call feeling both encouraged and excited for the 2025 year. To us, the stage seems set positively for further pediatric orthopedics share gain, a steadily-broadening surgical/non-surgical product portfolio, and now, starting in 1Q25, unambiguous “high-teens” organic growth."
