DA Davidson analyst Kurt Yinger lowered the price target on Installed Building Products (NYSE: IBP) to $225.00 (from $260.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "Exiting 4Q24 results we are maintaining our BUY rating, though drop our PT to $225 alongside our lowered 2025 forecasts. While you might not know it looking at how the stock has traded over the last year, results continue to be highlighted by resilient organic sales performance (slightly positive again), steady margins, and attractive relative performance as compared to other building product peers. Trading at 9x-10x EBITDA, we see a compelling medium-term risk/reward, with in our view, the challenges presented by the current new residential construction backdrop being manageable."
