Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst Timothy Switzer lowered the price target on Green Dot (NYSE: GDOT) to $10.00 (from $12.00) while maintaining a Market Perform rating.
The analyst commented: "Pipeline Solid, but Near-Term Challenges Weigh on 2025 Guide; GDOT reported Q4 operating EPS of $0.40, slightly above expectations with revenue beating KBWe across all three segments, particularly in the B2B segment. Expenses were also higher than expected, but EBITDA still beat our estimate by about 2%. Non-financial highlights of the quarter included positive y/y growth in total accounts for the first time since 1Q21 and several new partnership announcements. However, we expect these positive trends to be overshadowed by management’s relatively weaker 2025 outlook in tomorrow’s trading as both the EBITDA and EPS guide were below KBWe/consensus, largely driven by higher expenses and continued pressures in the Consumer Services segment. Lowering estimates/PT, reiterate MP rating."
