Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Sarah James reiterated an Overweight rating and $485.00 price target on Elevance (NYSE: ELV).
The analyst commented, “ELV $0.17 EPS ($15.5B rev) exposure to states with trigger laws and $0.80 EPS ($34.3B rev) exposed to Medicaid expansion lives, according to our estimates. 18 of ELV's 26 states have expanded Medicaid; we estimate it represents 2,055K lives or 23% of its Caid book. Of these, 4 (IN, IA, NC, VA) have trigger laws that would rollback expansion if funding falls below 90%; in these states, we estimate ELV has 439K lives or 5% of its Caid book.”
