Truist Securities analyst Mark Hughes raised the price target on Kinsale Capital (NYSE: KNSL) to $525.00 (from $480.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "We are raising our 2025 EPS estimate to $18.10 from $18.00 with our new number incorporating the $0.70 drag (relative to our prior model) from the California wildfires; we are establishing a 2026 forecast of $21.25 per share. Generally speaking, we assume 12% topline growth and steady underlying profitability along with sustained reserve gains of around 300 bps of net earned premiums; the company should also see an incremental tailwind from rising investment income. We are raising our target price to $525 from $480 on the assumption that KNSL maintains its current forward P/E of 25x and appreciates with earnings growth."
