Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst Meyer Shields raised the price target on American International Group (NYSE: AIG) to $90.00 (from $87.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst comments "We maintain our Outperform rating on AIG’s shares and raise our target price to $90 (11.5x our 2026E EPS) from $87 following its 4Q24 earnings report and conference call. We lower our 2025E EPS to $6.25 from $6.55, reflecting 1Q25E California Wildfire losses, and raise our 2026E EPS to $7.85 from $7.60, assuming lower core and catastrophe loss ratios and bigger reserve releases, partly offset by higher expense ratios. We expect AIG’s continuing underwriting margin progress, solid premium growth, steady earnings growth, and aggressive capital return to drive outperformance over and beyond the next 12 months."
