RBC Capital analyst Ashish Sabadra raised the price target on CME Group (NASDAQ: CME) to $269.00 (from $235.00) while maintaining a Sector Perform rating.

The analyst comments: "4Q24 results beat estimates, and FY25 expense guidance was roughly in line. 2025 total price increase guide of 2-2.5% was 50bps below the 2024 price increase; however, the incremental cash requirements/surcharge should provide tailwinds to non-operating income or other revenues. Overall, macro uncertainty and tariffs under the new administration, increased market and rate volatility, and Treasury issuances—along with client growth, particularly in retail expansion—bode well for volume growth, but we continue to monitor the tough comparisons. Lastly, opportunistic share repurchases should also provide support for the stock. Our PT rises to $269 from $235 on higher estimates and an increase in our multiple from 21x to 24x as the sector re-rates."
