Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Li Watsek initiates coverage on Acrivon Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: ACRV) with a Overweight rating.
The analyst comments "We are initiating coverage of Acrivon Therapeutics with an Overweight rating. Acrivon went IPO in 2022. It has two clinical assets and a next-generation precision medicine platform named AP3. We believe the lead asset, ACR-368 (CHK1/2i), could get an Accelerated Approval in endometrial cancer as early as 2026. Acrivon's "secret sauce" is AP3, which relies on proprietary proteomics data (measuring protein at the functional level) rather than genomics data (DNA level) for biomarker selection. In oncology, the initial application, only <10% of tumors can be targeted by genetic alterations. To address the remaining 90% of tumors, AI-powered AP3 can analyze massive networks of dysregulated proteins to better match a particular drug with patients. Acrivon has also built infrastructure for proteomics data collection and analysis tools that can drive long-term growth. We believe shares are undervalued as we see +810%/+304%/-8% in the bull/base/bear case."
