RBC Capital analyst Jon G. Arfstrom raised the price target on BankUnited (NYSE: BKU) to $43.00 (from $42.00) while maintaining a Sector Perform rating.
The analyst commented: "Consistent 2025 outlook. Continued improved mix and upward trajectory in key drivers; This was another solid quarter with the 2025 outlook calling for a continuation of the recent fundamental progress. We expect continued noninterest-bearing deposit growth, solid core commercial loan growth, and margin expansion to drive an upward trajectory in 2025 results. Credit remains important and management reiterated comfort with the portfolio after continued deeper reviews. Adjusting estimates and price target."
