Benchmark analyst Josh Sullivan reiterated a Buy rating and $300.00 price target on FTAI Aviation (NASDAQ: FTAI).
The analyst said: "We recently held investor meetings with FTAI’s CEO Joe Adams highlighting the new >$3B Strategic Capital Initiative (SCI). We believe the SCI will be more transformative than the market appreciates given: 1) SCI drives engine overhaul market share which is the fundamental factor in our $300 PT 2) SCI makes FTAI more of a high margin parts business by removing much of the legacy leasing capital burden while simultaneously turbo charging hardware throughput 3) Annual SCI tranches of >$3B are cumulative {adding >$200M EBITDA per year} 4) SCI takes advantage of a natural cycle with lessors looking to divest ~$30B of assets all in FTAI’s maintenance sweet spot 5) SCI will disrupt the fragmented 2 nd/3rd tier lessor market 6) SCI drives utilization/margins of Montreal facility. And, finally, no PMA is currently assumed in any SCI economics.
Market share drives our $300 PT assumption."
