Citi analyst Benjamin Gerlinger raised the price target on Pinnacle Financial Partners (NASDAQ: PNFP) to $132.00 (from $123.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "While we believe 4Q24 results are likely to prove modestly underwhelming (vs current expectations), largely driven by outsized deposit growth weighing on NIM, we find the next 2-3 year outlook of above peer lender additions to continue to support notably above peer loan growth trend. While we did increase expenses modestly in 2025/26, we believe the outlook for 2025 is likely to have “low-double digit” growth across the board (NII, Loans, Expenses). PNPF also continues to be well positioned for additional/potential lender adds should in-footprint M&A activity increase. We increase our TP to $132 (+$9) based on the next couple years outlook of both loan growth and NIM upside potential once the near-term cash weight gets deployed into lending credits."
