Republic Airways (RJET) Reports Increase in May Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET) reported preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2007. The company generated 738.1 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 29.4% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 961.3 million, a 26.8% increase. Block hours were 56,231 in May 2007, a 22.8% increase over May 2006. Load factor was 76.8% versus 75.2% in May 2006. A total of 1,390,075 passengers were carried during the month, a 25.8% increase over the same month last year.
