BMO Capital analyst Andrew Strelzik raised the price target on Darden Restaurants (NYSE: DRI) to $175.00 (from $165.00) while maintaining a Market Perform rating.
The analyst said: "FY2Q25 EPS of $2.03 slightly exceeded $2.02 consensus reflecting stronger comp sales and lower food costs. DRI reiterated FY25 EPS guidance (which now includes Chuy's) and expects comps at mid-point of prior guidance range, while comps/EPS growth in FY3Q are expected to lag FY4Q. We increase target to $175 as we increase estimates for stronger sales trends and roll methodology to FY26. While we appreciate DRI's more proactive approach to sales drivers in FY2H25, relative performance to the industry remains challenged vs. history, keeping us sidelined in pressured sales environment."
