Goldman Sachs analyst Paul Choi initiates coverage on Lantheus Holdings (NASDAQ: LNTH) with a Buy rating and a price target of $143.00.
The analyst comments "Concerns about Pylarify growth overdone; best-in-class infrastructure for exposure to the attractive theranostics and Alzheimer's thematics. On our estimates LNTH shares offer at an attractive entry point at these levels as we believe the Street is underestimating Pylarify growth. Our analysis indicates upside potential with 2025 guidance as volume growth should more than offset pricing pressure and create a floor of low double-digit to mid-teens type growth vs. consensus expectations for flat sales (GS: +15% vs. Visible Alpha Consensus Data: +4%). While competition is intensifying, we believe LNTH’s isotope strategy and logistical capabilities cement its competitive advantage, and we see Pylarify capturing additional share. Longer term, we see LNTH evolving into a multi-leg story: although we still await clarity on OS, we think the Street is overly bearish on PNT2002 relative to Pluvicto. We see optionality in the stock from PNT2002/PNT2003 from even modest commercial success (consensus models >$5bn in peak sales for Pluvicto alone). Lastly, LNTH’s Alzheimer’s disease diagnostics could emerge as meaningful drivers with an opportunity to unlock a >$1.5bn market opportunity as necessary intermediate step between initial blood based biomarker testing and initiation of treatment. We initiate at Buy with a 12-month price target of $143."
