Lucid Capital Markets analyst Dev Prasad initiates coverage on aTyr Pharma (NASDAQ: ATYR) with a Buy rating and a price target of $11.00.
The analyst comments "We are initiating coverage of aTyr Pharma (ATYR) with a Buy rating and an $11/share price target. aTyr is developing a pipeline of potential first-in-class therapies that target novel pathways regulated by extracellular tRNA synthetases. The company’s lead candidate, Efzofitimod, is in a Global Phase 3 EFZO-FIT trial for Pulmonary Sarcoidosis, where it has the potential to become the first FDA-approved therapy for the condition. Phase 1b/2a results demonstrated encouraging proof-of-concept, with dose-dependent reductions in steroid use and improvements in pulmonary function compared to placebo, positioning Efzofitimod as a moderately de-risked Phase 3 asset. Additionally, a proof-of-concept Ph1b/2a trial of Efzofitimod in SSc-ILD is ongoing. Efzofitimod’s mechanism of action and Ph1b/2a data in Pulmonary Sarcoidosis suggest it may have utility in a broader interstitial lung diseases (ILDs). Key upcoming potential catalysts, including proof-of-concept data in SSc-ILD (2Q25) and topline Ph3 data in Pulmonary Sarcoidosis (3Q25), could be inflection points for the stock."
