Citi analyst David Lebowitz reiterated a Sell rating and $26.00 price target on PTC Therapeutics (NASDAQ: PTCT).
The analyst comments "Following the FDA’s acceptance of sepiapterin’s NDA filing for the treatment of phenylketonuria (PKU) earlier this month, PTC today announced that the agency has set sepiapterin’s PDUFA target action date for July 29, 2025. The July PDUFA reflects the standard 10-month review timeline, four months longer than the priority review PTC had requested. We note that both of Biomarin’s approved PKU therapies, Kuvan and Palynziq, were granted priority review (in 2007 and 2017, respectively). Sepiapterin’s MAA application remains under review in Europe (validated and accepted for review in May), with global marketing application submissions for additional countries, including Japan and Brazil, expected this year."
