Truist Securities analyst Bill Chappell initiates coverage on Westrock Coffee Co. (NASDAQ: WEST) with a Buy rating and a price target of $10.00.
The analyst comments "We are initiating coverage of Westrock Coffee Company (WEST) with a Buy rating and $10 price target. In our opinion, the company is well positioned to expand margins and achieve a higher multiple due to the buildout of a new facility in Conway, AR, specializing in coffee-based ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage manufacturing. Volatility within the legacy coffee & tea business (bagged roasted and ground coffee and single-serve pods) has contributed to YTD declines in the stock price, but we believe Conway-related upside will provide an offset to unforeseen difficulties in the legacy business moving forward. Westrock Coffee Company primarily produces roast and ground coffee and is the source of coffee for many of the world's largest companies and consumer brands. The company also produces extracts used to produce and supply ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee beverages to its coffee customers."
