Roth/MKM analyst Mike Niehuser raised the price target on Perpetua Resources (NASDAQ: PPTA) to $12.00 (from $10.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "The U.S. Forest Service announced its intent to publish a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and favorable Draft Record of Decision (DROD). This is after 14 years of study and eight years in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) permitting process. We believe that this is validation of a vital project with strong economics, important to national security, and a once in a generation opportunity to restore fish habitat. A Final Record of Decision (ROD) is anticipated by the end of 2024."
