BMO Capital analyst John McNulty raised the price target on Westlake Chemical (NYSE: WLK) to $171.00 (from $167.00) while maintaining a Market Perform rating.
The analyst commented, "WLK delivered a solid 2Q, showcasing its continued ability to drive higher margins. HIP is seeing share gains which along with revenue synergies/efficiencies position it well for the housing recovery forecast in 2H2025/26. In PEM, we see immediate-term trends as solid but are a bit worried the Street is too high for 2025. Admittedly, on the risk/reward, we are torn and see WLK as moderately undervalued but would look for consensus numbers in PEM to come down or a slightly better entry point. Maintain Mkt and
raise target to $171."
