Vertex (VERX) Tops Q2 EPS by 2c, provides guidance

Vertex (NASDAQ: VERX) reported Q2 EPS of $0.15, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $161.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $160.67 million.

GUIDANCE:

Vertex sees Q3 2024 revenue of $164-167 million, versus the consensus of $165.1 million.

Adjusted EBITDA of $33 million to $35 million.

For the full-year 2024, the Company currently expects:

Revenues of $654 million to $660 million, versus the consensus of $656.8 million.
Cloud revenue growth of 28%; and
Adjusted EBITDA of $139 million to $145 million.
