Mizuho analyst Ann Hynes raised the price target on Universal Health Services (NYSE: UHS) to $240.00 (from $200.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst commented: "We are raising our 2024E-2026E adjusted EPS and raising our price target to $240 from $200 on UHS. Highlights of the quarter include solid adjusted admissions trends over difficult y/y comp coupled with significant adjusted EBITDA growth and margin expansion, even when excluding the benefit from supplemental payment programs. Additionally, UHS provided its preliminary expectation for payments from a new supplemental payment program in Washington, D.C. As a result, we continue to view EPS visibility as high for 2024. We reiterate our Outperform rating."
