TD Cowen analyst Bill Katz downgraded Stifel Financial (NYSE: SF) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $89.00 (from $94.00).
The analysts commented, "Downgrade SF to Hold; trim '24-25E adjusted EPS modestly & lower 12-month SOTP target $5 to $89. While bullish LT, our thesis around consensus estimates resetting higher has mostly played out; we are now only ~3% ahead of the Street for '25, versus 12% at the time of our launch in January. With the stock up 21% YTD, we believe most skepticism is washed out while we see less sightline to $9.00 for '25."
