Goldman Sachs analyst David Roman initiates coverage on Solventum (NYSE: SOLV) with a Sell rating and a price target of $54.00.
The analyst comments: "We initiate coverage on shares of Solventum (SOLV) with a Sell rating and a 12-month price target of $54, reflecting: (1) lower end-market growth with the company's served WAMGR at ~3.5-4% vs. overall market growth of 4%-6%; (2) Solventum's relative positioning is likely to drive top-line growth in the 0%-2% range for the next several years (adjusting for business exits); and (3) limited details regarding potential upside drivers. As a result, we do not project the company to reach a sustainable sales and earnings profile until 2028 with potential downward EPS revisions."
