RBC Capital analyst Jon Arfstrom reiterated an Outperform rating and $18.00 price target on First Horizon National (NYSE: FHN)
The analyst comments "We recently hosted investor meetings with Chairman, President, and CEO Bryan Jordan, CFO Hope Dmuchowski, and Head of IR Natalie Flanders. The overall message was consistent and positive, and we remain optimistic on momentum being rebuilt following last year’s TD merger termination. Overall themes: reasonable valuation, meaningful asset repricing opportunity, consistent deposit pricing trends, rising margin, some potential lift in fee income, controlled expenses, stable credit costs, higher than peer capital, continued buyback. This was a positive update."
