BMO Capital analyst Jackie Przybylowski raised the price target on Kinross Gold (NYSE: KGC) to $10.00 (from $9.50) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst commented, "Positive. Kinross reported Q1/24 results that were better than expectations. The company has delivered record production at Tasiast and Paracatu, as well as strong production from La Coipa, and is making good progress on both short- and longer-term projects. Costs were also better than expected as Kinross continues to be disciplined about protecting margins at key operations. We maintain our Outperform rating, our rounded one-year target is raised to US$10.00/share (from US$9.50/share) on the stronger Q1 results."
