Equity Residential (EQR) Tops Q1 EPS by 44c; offers guidance

Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.77, $0.44 better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $730.82 million versus the consensus estimate of $728.09 million.

GUIDANCE:

At this time the Company is not revising its annual operating, EPS, FFO per share or Normalized FFO per share guidance provided as part of its fourth quarter 2023 earnings release.

The Company has established guidance ranges for the second quarter of 2024 EPS, FFO per share and Normalized FFO per share as listed below:

Equity Residential sees Q2 2024 EPS of $0.45-$0.49

FFO per share $0.91 to $0.95

Normalized FFO per share $0.92 to $0.96
