Piper Sandler analyst Paul Newsome downgraded American Financial (NYSE: AFG) from Overweight to Neutral with a price target of $129.00.
The analyst comments "We are lowering our rating to Neutral from Overweight. Our price target remains unchanged. We think AFG is facing a high-class problem. Its ROE is probably near its cyclical peak and earnings growth will be limited as calendar underwriting margins are likely be to stable into the future."
