UPWARD MOVERS:
Rio Tinto plc (NYSE: RTP) +$32.85; Growing chatter that BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP) will make a bid for the company.

Foster Wheeler (Nasdaq: FWLT) +$10.74; Reports Q1 earnings of $1.60 per share, above the consensus of $0.75. Revenues came in at $1.15 billion versus the consensus of $1.04 billion.

Mohawk Industries Inc. (NYSE: MHK) +$6.78; Higher on private equity leveraged buyout rumors. Mohawk is a leading supplier of flooring for both residential and commercial applications. Volume is nearly at 2 million shares versus the 10-day average volume of about 500K shares.

Arrow International (Nasdaq: ARRO) +$5.98; Company said its Board of Directors has formed a Special Committee comprised of independent directors to explore and evaluate strategic alternatives aimed at enhancing shareholder value. The company has hired investment banking firm Lazard Freres & Co LLC to provide financial advisory services and Dechert LLP to provide legal services to it in connection with its review.

Perini (NYSE: PCR) +$4.51; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.84, 27 cents better than estimates.(0.57) Revenues were $987.4 million vs. $947.19 million consensus. Sees FY EPS between $2.40-2.60 vs. $2.16 consensus.


DOWNWARD MOVERS:
Dendreon Corporation (Nasdaq: DNDN) -$10.70; Company received an "approvable" letter from the FDA regarding its Biologics License Application (BLA) for PROVENGE for the treatment of asymptomatic, metastatic, androgen-independent prostate cancer.

priceline.com (Nasdaq: PCLN) -$5.43; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.43, in-line with recently raised guidance. Revenues were $300.1 million vs. $285.5 million consensus. Sees Q2 EPS between $0.80-0.90 vs. $0.79 consensus. Company reaffirms forecast for FY.

CompuCredit (Nasdaq: CCRT) -$4.48; Reports a Q1 loss of $0.05, 26 cents worse than estimates.(0.21)

Legg Mason Inc. (NYSE: LM) -$3.76; Reports Q4 earnings of $1.19 per share, 2 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $1.14 billion versus the consensus of $1.13 billion.

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. (NYSE: THS) -$3.57; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.24, 7 cents worse than estimates. Revenues were $259.0 million vs. $256.49 million consensus. Sees Q2 EPS between $0.27-0.29 vs. $0.28 consensus. Sees FY EPS between $1.29-1.34 vs. $1.33 consensus.
