PNC Financial Services (PNC) Tops Q3 EPS by 50c

PNC Financial Services (NYSE: PNC) reported Q3 EPS of $3.60, $0.50 better than the analyst estimate of $3.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.23 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.34 billion.

"PNC delivered strong results in the third quarter. We generated positive operating leverage, controlled expenses well, maintained strong credit quality and further increased our capital levels.
