New Jersey Resources (NYSE: NJR) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per share, or $1.68 annualized. This is a 7.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.39.
The dividend will be payable on October 2, 2023, to stockholders of record on September 20, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of September 19, 2023.
The annual yield on the dividend is 4 percent.
Steve Westhoven, President and CEO of NJR, stated, “Our long-term business strategy and financial position give the Board confidence to increase the quarterly dividend. We are committed to providing strong long-term returns to shareholders, and a growing dividend is a key component of increasing shareholder value.”
